What it is: when you pay through OnePart's in-app checkout, your payment is HELD by our regulated payment partner and only released to the seller after you confirm the item arrived as described — or after the auto-release window lapses.
What's covered: item not received, materially not as described, counterfeit, stolen, or damaged in transit (per courier terms). Eligibility requires using in-app checkout — off-platform payments are NOT covered.
How to claim: open a dispute within 7 days of delivery or auto-confirm, with evidence (photos, courier scans, message history). We review and decide refund vs release.
Refunds and payouts are handled via our payment partner; timelines and partial refunds may apply.
Seller obligations: ship within the stated dispatch window with tracking, list accurately, and respond to disputes.
Fees: a Buyer-Protection fee may apply, refundable on full refunds and non-refundable on completed orders.
Not covered: ordinary wear-and-tear, fitment errors where the listing was accurate, buyer's-remorse, and off-platform deals.
