Seller Agreement

Last updated 6/13/2026

Identity verification is required before you can list or sell on OnePart.

You warrant that every listing is accurate, that you own or have the legal right to sell the item, and — if you trade as a business in used goods — that you comply with the Second-Hand Goods Act, 2009 (SAPS registration and record-keeping) where applicable.

Business sellers: the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 applies. You must honour implied warranties of quality (s55/s56), avoid misleading pricing, and deal fairly and honestly.

Private sellers: genuine once-off C2C sales are largely outside the CPA and are sold voetstoots / as-is. Buyer Protection still covers 'not received' and 'materially not as described'.

Fulfilment: dispatch within the stated window, provide valid courier tracking, and package parts safely.

Fees and payouts: fees are disclosed at point of sale. Payouts are made by our payment partner after buyer confirmation, less applicable fees.

Prohibited conduct: fee circumvention, off-platform solicitation that bypasses Buyer Protection, and any breach of the Acceptable Use and Prohibited Goods policies.

Ratings, reviews and disputes: you agree to participate in good faith.

Business sellers using POS / inventory integrations agree to the related data and inventory-sync terms.
