What ID verification means

A verified badge on a profile confirms that the person operating the account has passed identity verification through our third-party provider. It confirms the identity of the account holder only.

It does not verify, inspect, warrant, or guarantee the condition, legality, or origin of any part or item listed by that user. This includes whether an item is stolen, counterfeit, safe, road-legal, or as described.

Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for checking goods themselves before any transaction. Always confirm part numbers, condition, fitment, and proof of ownership in the in-app chat before paying or handing anything over.

No escrow or payment handling

OnePart does not hold funds, process payments for listed items, or mediate transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not act as an escrow provider, payment processor, or dispute resolution service for payments.

All transactions, meetups, deliveries, and payments happen directly between users, at their own risk. Use the in-app chat to agree price, payment method, delivery, and returns before you commit.

Platform role

We provide a listing and discovery service that connects buyers and sellers of vehicle parts in South Africa. We are not a party to any transaction between users, and we are not the seller of items listed by third parties.

We do our best to keep the marketplace safe — including identity verification, reporting tools, and moderation — but we cannot guarantee every listing, user, or transaction.

Dealer / B2C accounts

Verified business accounts are subject to the same identity-verification-only disclaimer above. A verified business badge confirms the business identity; it does not guarantee the quality or origin of any listed item.

Dealer subscriptions are billed in advance on the plan you select. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Listing limits, promotion credits, and featured-placement allowances depend on the subscription tier shown at signup. We may adjust tier features and pricing with reasonable notice.
