Prohibited & Stolen-Goods Policy

Strictly prohibited: stolen goods; items the seller has no right to sell; recalled or unsafe parts; counterfeit or replica branded parts sold as genuine; tampered safety items.

Restricted categories (require extra verification or may be disallowed): catalytic converters, airbags, immobilisers/ECUs, complete engine/transmission assemblies, and other high-theft items.

Second-Hand Goods Act, 2009: business sellers of used goods must comply with SAPS registration and record-keeping where applicable, and must attest to this at point of listing.

Stolen-goods reporting: anyone may report a suspected stolen listing via the 'Report stolen part' tool. We may remove listings, suspend accounts, preserve records, and cooperate with SAPS and other lawful requests.

Consequences for breach: listing takedown, account suspension or permanent ban, and reporting to law enforcement.
