Returns & Refunds
Last updated 6/13/2026
Business sellers (CPA applies): buyers have the rights set out in the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 — including the implied warranty of quality and, for qualifying electronic transactions, a 7-day cooling-off right under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
Private sellers (largely outside the CPA): used parts are sold voetstoots / as-is. Buyers rely on Buyer Protection for 'not received' and 'materially not as described'.
Process: open a dispute through the order page within 7 days of delivery, with evidence (photos, courier scans, message history). Decisions are issued within a reasonable period.
Return shipping: the party at fault generally pays return shipping. Items must be returned in the condition received.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via our payment partner. Timelines depend on your bank or card scheme.
Interaction with Buyer Protection: this policy works together with the Buyer Protection Policy — see that page for the full claim flow.
